When do wheels need welding?

Welding is required when the wheel has cracks or fractures that cause air pressure loss in the tire.

Important to remember – welding is not always possible. If the damage is too severe and compromises safety, the wheel must be replaced.
Also, keep in mind that if a wheel has suffered a strong impact but no visible cracks are present, cracks may appear during the rolling process, causing the wheel to split.
